APS Honors Educators
The 17th annual Teacher Recognition Banquet will be held Wednesday, May
14, at the Greek Community Center, 129 S. Union St., starting at 6 p.m.
The cost is $17/person. Make your check payable to "Akron Public
Schools"; and send it to Judi Hill, Community Partnerships,
Administration Building, by Monday, May 5, 2008.

Graphic Design Internship Available
The Akron Public Schools Communications Department is seeking a graphic
designer for a summer internship. Applicants should show proficiency with
InDesign and Photoshop, possess excellent communication skills, have the
capacity to work under tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects. This
is an unpaid internship open to students studying graphic design. The
deadline for applications is Friday, May 16, 2008. Contact
