Business Advisory Council
The state of Ohio requires school districts to form Business Advisory
Councils. However, Akron Public Schools BAC is one of the most active in the
state. Members include:

The Business Advisory Council shares its business expertise with Akron Public
Schools by providing mentoring and solutions for improving efficiency of our
business functions. Over the past year, the council completed studies of the
business affairs department and is currently working with the district's
information services and human resources departments as well as developing a
district-wide customer service program.
