Our vision: The curriculum and instruction division of Akron Public Schools envisions a dynamic educational community that enables students and adults to become life-long learners. Learning environments will focus on developing higher-order thinking skills, promoting cultural awareness and using technology to prepare learners to become productive citizens in a global society.
