- The Children's Literature Web Site developed by the University of Calgary is an excellent website for young adult and children's literature.

- Dewey Browse classifies websites by the Dewey Decimal Classification System for grades K-12; similar to CyberDewey.
- Educators’ Reference Desk has been created by the Information Institute of Syracuse and contains thousands of lesson plans, information on educational theory, and school management. Librarian links discuss various aspects of librarianship.
- Fairfield Warde High School Virtual Library provides an extensive list of subject links. Click on “subject links” to see a vast number of categorized links.
- FindArticles searches for quality articles in reputable magazines and journals.

- Library of Congress serves all Americans through its popular web site. This resource features the American Memory Collection, Thomas (legislative information), various exhibitions, and access to the vast collections and services offered by the LOC.
- Links for Librarians is the website of the Iowa Library Service. It contains a vast number of links to library related issues including weeding, storytelling and copyright.

- School Librarian Pages is a very useful directory of school librarian webpages from all over the world; maintained by Jim Neal, one of the moderators of LMNet and producer of one of the more helpful school librarian resource websites.
- SLJ Online links to the School Library Journal, the print magazine, and now, School Library Journal Online. The web site, serves librarians who work with young people in school and public libraries; the two publications give librarians indispensable information needed to manage libraries, from creating high-quality collections to understanding how technology can assist learning.
- Stuff for the Teen Age was developed by the New York Public Library and links to great book selection ideas for young adults.
- Talk It Up! created by the Multnomah County Library in Oregon, this site provides book discussion guides for many books for youth.
- Ten Copyright Myths attempts to answer common myths about copyright seen on the Internet and covers issues related to copyright and USENET/Internet publications.
