Summer Repairs

During the summer, the audio-visual shop will provide service for all audio-visual equipment in need of repair, as well as service to all Board-recommended equipment. Preventive maintenance service will also be offered for those items not on the recommended list. However, this equipment will only receive minor repairs. All equipment requiring extensive repairs will be discussed with appropriate school staff.

The equipment that is to be sent for preventive maintenance will be listed on the summer repair list (to be provided). Under "Miscellaneous Equipment," please list equipment, other than requested equipment, that will require repair. The summer repair list consists of the following:

• Salmon copy for AV services – to be returned by (date to be provided)
• Yellow copy to be retained by building

There will be a pickup of audio-visual equipment by the AV shop. Please make sure you return the salmon copy of the repair list by (date to be provided). As you find additional equipment that is in need of repair, please call 330.761.2648; and we will add these items to your list.

All equipment not sent in for servicing should be secured under lock and key. No equipment should be allowed to remain in classrooms, auditoriums, etc., throughout the summer.

A pickup schedule will be provided. However, the audio-visual shop will be set up to receive equipment at the close of school. We encourage you to make arrangements to drop off your equipment at the audio-visual shop. This type of equipment is quite fragile; and if you can bring it in for servicing, its safe handling may be ensured. The audio-visual shop will return all equipment prior to school opening in August.

Please make sure the custodian receives a copy of the summer repair list so he may coordinate the pickup with the driver on the day scheduled.
