The Coordinator directs the administration of district-wide and state-mandated tests including: test security, score reporting and interpretation.

The Coordinator:

*	facilitates the management of test data by analyzing, reporting and disseminating assessment data;
*	prepares reports of student test data for the community, parents, and school administration;
*	is the liaison with the Special Education Department, coordinating the state-mandated Alternate Assessments; and
*	assists with the design and evaluation of projects/programs including the generation of survey instruments, analysis of data collected quantitatively and qualitatively, and reporting of findings to the appropriate parties

Research applications involving the district are coordinated by the Coordinator.

The Coordinator is a resource/consultant assisting other personnel with statistical data analysis.

Other responsibilities of the Coordinator include: Regional Value-Added Specialist (RVAS) – one of two in the district; Education Management Information System (EMIS) presenter to buildings, explaining accountability and report card data.

The Coordinator also maintains the Web page for Testing, Research and Evaluation (webmaster).
