Short-term volunteer opportunities:

Office support: assist in the main office on a periodic basis, particularly during busy times or events; duties could include answering phones, making copies, filing, etc.

Project RISE: multiple volunteer opportunities exist with our program for homeless children, including reading to students, providing supplies, etc.

Long-term volunteer opportunities:

AkronReads tutor: individuals, businesses and community organizations assist APS elementary school students with learning to read and making sure they are on track

OASIS reading tutor: adults, 55 and over, work with students in grades K-2 who need the additional support of a caring, one-on-one relationship once a week, during the school year
