Since 2008, students in grades K-8 are required to wear uniforms. Students must wear shirts (with collars) in white, blue or yellow (any shade); plus, some schools have selected two additional colors. Bottoms are black, khaki and navy blue. For more details, click the chart on the right. All items can be purchased. Remember, these items are not true uniforms and can be purchased through any retail outlet, Goodwill, catalogs or online. Any top with a collar and sleeves in the required colors will work.
Families of veterans may be eligible for assistance with uniforms from the Veterans Service Commission at 330.643.2830 Check with your school administrator/counselor to see if you qualify for a referral to a local community organization that assists families with clothing needs. Another option is to call Info Line (dial 2-1-1) to see if you are eligible for financial assistance for food or utilities which could free up funds for school clothing.
The uniform requirements listed above (and on the chart) are general information. For more specific school-related information, contact your principal.
