Sixth-grade STEM student Noah Carillon won Time Warner Cable's "Coolest Creations" contest and a $1,000 savings bond with his "Water Dog" invention. The "Water Dog" is a device that makes it easier for people with back problems to fill their pets' water dishes. Voting for 10 student inventors ran through June on channel 411. The "Coolest Creations" contest is part of the cable company's Connect a Million Minds initiative, promoting science, technology, engineering and math in education and careers.
