Fifty teachers were nominated as Building Teachers of the Year. Of those 50, eight were selected as finalists for Teacher of the Year. To showcase why these very special individuals were chosen, this video montage was constructed and was shown during the 2013 Teacher of the Year Banquet on May 21, 2013. This is just a small sampling of the great teachers and staff we have in APS. Thank you, teachers, for all of the hard work you do every day.

On Thursday, September 22, 2011, thousands of fathers, foster fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, godfathers, cousins, and other significant male caregivers and mentors will walk or drive their children to school to show their support of their children's education.
