APS serves up FREE breakfast and lunch

Beginning next school year, every APS student can enjoy a FREE breakfast AND FREE lunch. This tasty, new program is available through the federal Community Eligibility Option (CEO) and will cover the full cost of serving meals at no charge to the district. Meal applications will not be required for any student.
Are school lunches healthy? You bet! APS meal menus meet tough new federal nutrition standards and adhere to the requirements of the Cleveland Clinic Eat Right at School Program. For more information, contact Child Nutrition at 330.761.1335.

That is wonderful, because for some kids this is the only meal they will have or maybe even nutritious meal.
