Kaitlin Stessney, an eighth-grade GLOBE student at Roswell Kent Middle School, led the pledge of allegiance during the Board meeting on Monday, July 23. Kaitlin's seventh-grade scientific research project, titled "Climate Change Correlation With Malaria Cases," earned her second place in the Intel Science and Engineering Fair in Cleveland, second place in the SATELLITES Geospatial and Technology Conference in Toledo, and a Superior at State Science Day at The Ohio State University (first time a student from RKMS has earned a Superior). Her project has most recently earned second place at the international GLOBE Program Annual Partner Meeting in St. Paul, Minn. Way to make us all APS PROUD, Kaitlin!
