Miller South’s New Principal Makes Art Work
With the school’s second Excellent rating in a row on the state report card, there’s no doubt that “art works” at Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts.

Kathy Maddex began her venture as Miller South’s new principal this school year and is excited to bring students a curriculum that meets and exceeds each student’s individual artistic desires.

“If your child has an interest in a certain aspect of the arts, we will bend over backward to make sure he or she can study it here,” said Maddex.

From music		to mosaic,

Maddex finds it’s this stimulation of the arts that helps students to excel academically.

“Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it,” said Maddex. “That’s our motto here.”
