Griff Mart

Location & Operating Times

Griff Mart is located behind the Administrative Offices on the main concourse

Hours: 11:45 a.m. -  1:15 p.m. during the week. There are restrictions for student entry during class and lunch.

The Griffin kiosk will be located outside of the cafeteria during fourth period lunch. This services the 7th and 8th grade customers!

About The Griff Mart

The Griff Mart is a not for profit School Based Enterprise. All the money made goes back into the store to order and buy new supplies; improve and upgrade the store operations; and support various national, state, local and school organizations and charities. The Griff Mart School Store is a Marketing Lab run by members of DECA (students in the junior and senior marketing classes).

The Griff Mart helps the students to get a feel of running a small business and use their knowledge that they learn in the Marketing classes to help run the school store.

The Griff Mart promotes Buchtel Community Learning Centers clubs and athletic programs by supplying a variety of school spirit wear in the form of clothing, accessories and other Griffin gear. School supplies and snacks are also available for purchase at the Griff Mart.

DECA Mission

The mission of DECA is to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management and entrepreneurship.

DECA helps students develop skills and competence for marketing careers, build self-esteem, experience leadership and practice community service.DECA is committed to the advocacy of marketing education and the growth of business and education partnerships.
