To apply for financial aid, there are several steps students need to take to complete the process. Here is an outline of those steps as well as links and instructions to help you find your way. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 330.873.3355. 

Please note: Students are required to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress throughout their attendance.  Failure to do so may result in dismissal and/or loss of financial aid eligibility.

Financial aid instructions:

  1. Students will first need to create an account with the Federal Student Aid (FSA) at www.studentloans.gov.

  2. Once you have created an account, you must complete the 2016-17 and 2017-18 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Our school code is: 008194.  The following link offers more guidance on completing the FAFSA.                FAFSA on the Web worksheet                                                               
  3. Students will be asked to include their 2015 tax information.  

            Once you have completed the FAFSA, a report will be generated and sent to the school.  This report is known as the ISIR.  The FAA at the school may notify you that you have been chosen for Verification.  These forms are available at the school and the FAA will assist you in completing the form to be submitted to the US Department of Education.  You may also be required to submit a Return Tax Transcript.

      4.   If this is the first time you are enrolling in a post-secondary school, you must also complete the Entrance Counseling form and sign the Master Promissory Note online at www.studentloans.gov.

       5. If you are a dependent student, your parent will also be required to create an FSA account and complete the financial portion of the student's FAFSA.  

Parents may assist their student financially by applying for a federal Parent Plus Loan.  If the parent is declined for a Parent Plus Loan, their student may qualify for additional federal student aid.  Parents may apply at the link below.

If a parent has qualified for a Parent Plus Loan and is requesting awards to pay for student tuition and fees, the parent must sign a Parent Master Promissory Note - see link below.

Additional documents may be required to process federal funding.  The Financial Aid Administrator (FAA) can assist students in completing additional requirements.
