Windemere CLC open and house and dedication set for Oct. 4

Be a part of the unveiling of the newly completed Windemere CLC at the dedication ceremony on Tuesday, October 4, at 5:30 p.m.
This significant milestone marks the 25th Community Learning Center to open in the 15-year plan that Akron Public Schools and the City of Akron set into motion to remodel and reinvent the district school buildings and transform them into community learning centers.
Hear remarks from Superintendent David W. James and Mayor Don Plusquellic as they invite you to celebrate in this exciting event; and join them, and the community, on a tour of the new Windemere CLC. A new atmosphere built on academic excellence, design and innovation were at the heart of this new building. The new school will serve as an inspiration to the students and the community in aspects of education, expansion and exploration.
