About Findley CLC
The new Findley Community Learning Center opened on November 30, 2009.
Extended-day programs are offered to students.
Findley CLC students wear uniforms.
Students receive books each year through Reading Is Fundamental.
Findley CLC's $270,000 Title 1 Schoolwide project provides extra teachers, tutors, instructional materials and special programs for students.
Proficiency and achievement test scores continue to rise.
Findley CLC is an OhioReads school.
Students participate in the school-wide Findley CLC Book Challenge. Students read 3,500 books last year.
The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation funds the "Square Readers" club, an innovative reading program offered at Findley.
Every teacher has a "highly qualified" designation from the state.
Teachers have an average of 18 years of experience, and 79% hold a master's degree or higher.
