AMPLIFY & ELEVATE
Putting POWER
in students' hands
Students play important roles in decision-making for their schools and their communities. Their unique perspective helps provide insight and create solutions for a variety of projects and issues. When they are given opportunities to have a voice in that decision-making, they are more invested in their education, their school and their community.
The APS Student Voices program puts power in the hands of APS students by elevating their voices and placing them in positions of responsibility. Students who participate in Student Voices initiatives learn valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, communications, community service and more.
Students have formal Scholar Voice leadership opportunities starting in middle school.
