Mad Science Camps for APS Students in Grades 2-6

Image of Mad Science LogoMad Science Camps are sponsored by Akron Public Schools and Akron After School, so there is no charge for students in grades 2-6. Register for one week or two! Each camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; and breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided. Campers receive a Mad Science Camp T-shirt and many great take-home items. The registration deadline is May 22, and space is limited. Complete the registration form and return it to your school's office. (NOTE: The Mad Science Camps at Harris-Jackson and Seiberling are full.)

  • Flight Academy (Schumacher CLC, 1020 Hartford Ave.), June 24-28 - the week will fly by as we travel through time looking at the earliest flying machines right up to modern day rocket launches
