If it’s late October and you’re talking about a district final in boys soccer, on some pitch, somewhere Medina and Copley are playing in the round of 32.
It’ll happen once again this weekend after top-seeded Medina beat fourth-seeded Firestone 4-0 on Wednesday.
The win by the defending state champion Bees (17-0-1) coupled with second-seeded Copley holding on for a 2-1 double overtime win over third-seeded Archbishop Hoban means the two will meet at 4 p.m. Saturday at Barberton with a regional appearance on the line.
