APS Athletic Director Joe Vassalotti spoke from the 50-yard line of the brand new field, and then Coach Yost offered heartfelt words of gratitude (he especially noted the help of late APS Superintendent Conrad C. Ott and his widow Jeanne Ott, who was in attendance).

Joining the celebration were many former players and coaches who wanted to share in this special night for Coach Yost. Vassalotti credited Ellet CLC Principal Michelle Kearns and school Athletic Director Missy Blondheim for their help in making the evening events happen.

Thanks also to the wonderful Orangemen marching band, terrific as always under the direction of Adam Grom. Fittingly, Coach Yost (now a defensive assistant to head coach Chuck Shuman) then helped lead Ellet to a 27-7 victory on the field.
