The robotics competition is designed to foster critical thinking in the middle school by means of a problem-based activity. Students come from different schools and are grouped randomly together to promote teamwork within diverse settings. Each team is given a common set of materials, tasked to design and build their robot, and then handle it in the actual competition (hosted by Firestone CLC and Project Lead the Way).
