Image of Miller South Virtual Symphonic Choir VideoWhen COVID-19 closed the schools, Paul Stewart (choral music director at Miller South) decided to create virtual choirs to fill the void left by the loss of the spring vocal concerts. Students were asked to record themselves singing along to special recording tracks he created and submit the videos through Google Classroom. Then, using Garage Band and Final Cut Pro, he combined and aligned the audio and video to create a virtual performance, as if the students were together, even though they were far apart.
