Historical Society Celebrates its 96th Birthday

Image of Sheep With RudyThe Summit County Historical Society will celebrate its 96th birthday July 11 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Perkins Stone Mansion grounds. The event includes sheep herding demonstrations with border collies Rudy, Luke, Lincoln and little Owen at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair. Guests can also enjoy an outside scavenger hunt to learn about the Perkins Stone Mansion and the John Brown House. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. The event is free and open to the public.
