Billy Porter is an actor, writer and red carpet superstar. Most recently, he is best known for his Emmy-winning performance as Pray Tell on FX's "Pose," though he has also appeared in "American Horror Story" and "Law & Order." In addition, he's a celebrated theater actor, having won a Tony Award for his performance in "Kinky Boots."

Billy Porter will be playing the Fairy Godmother in the live-action remake of "Cinderella" along with Camila Cabello in the titular role.

Billy Porter played Teen Angel in the 1994 Broadway revival of "Grease." Other shows he has been in include "Topdog/Underdog" at City Theatre, "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Dreamgirls" at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and the song cycles "Myths and Hymns and Songs for a New World."

Billy Porter wrote and performed in his one-person autobiographical show, "Ghetto Superstar (The Man That I Am)," at Joe's Pub in New York City. He was nominated for "Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off Broadway Award" at the 17th GLAAD Media Awards.
