Image of The VillageLife at the I PROMISE Village by Graduate Hotels is all about family. More than a roof over head and a warm pillow under it, it’s a home filled with hope and buzzing with family programming designed to engage and support our parents and students as they work toward their goals. With resources including on-site tutoring and mentorship, family meals, yoga classes, piano lessons, cooking demonstrations, and other life-skill-building opportunities, the Village is full of love, learning and a shared commitment to the positive journey we’re all on together.

Part of that journey is finding joy in always learning andImage of The Village exploring, dreaming of all the possibilities ahead and proactively working toward them. And there’s no better way to engage the imagination than through reading.

To encourage reading and provide access to a wide range of books for families to read together, the LeBron James Family Foundation, in partnership with the Little Free Library®, JOANN and WKYC Studios, unveiled a brand new Little Free Library on the 4th floor of the I PROMISE Village. Christened by one of LeBron’s I PROMISE students, Mariya, and filled with some of his favorite reads, the brand-new community reading nook at the Village will be kept stocked with books for all ages so that families can all find something to enjoy.

With the Free Little Library’s unveiling at the Village on Read Across America Day, we hope this keeps our I PROMISE families reading every single day as they continue their paths forward.

“In everything we do at the Village, we want to engage and inspire our families to dream bigger than they ever thought possible.”

Michele Campbell
Executive Director of the LeBron James Family Foundation.

So keep reading, keep dreaming, and keep seeing the possible with our students, families and partners.
