Two or more families from each Buchtel Cluster School were invited to Crouse CLC for a return-to-school breakfast and recognition celebration.

We had a brief introduction of the K.I.N.G movement and its purpose, along with keynote speaker Dr. Jashan Jabbaar-Hill. Dr. Jabbaar-Hill discussed his journey to become a successful black doctor of medicine at the age of 26.

This was followed by a question and answer session for families and students. Deacon Johnny Blash, a long-time volunteer at Crouse C.L.C, was recognized for his commitment to young people by the K.I.N.G Movement. The morning finished with the presentation of the return-to-school items for each student.
