He sent us this message to share with you:

"This is Vincent Dean's 'pioneer life' project. Vincent is one of my fifth-grade Mystery Camp students at Mason CLC. He and his younger sister Ty' Kezia (also at Mason and also a Mystery Camper) moved here last spring from Mississippi."

Nick says their Mystery Camp II theme is "How and Why Communities Change," and their field trip took them to the Colonel Simon Perkins Mansion and the John Brown House.

He continued, "During the two-week APS Mystery Camp, we had fun learning about the abolitionists John Brown and Harriet Tubman and about the different types of communities and compared our current-day communities to those of our forefathers.

In Vincent's project, he wanted to portray pioneer life in a log cabin environment. We all think that his project was well thought out and created a great depiction of a pioneer log cabin settlement."

Thank you, Nick, for sharing. Great work, Vincent, and welcome to Akron. We love to share, too!
