Image of Kenmore Garfield Army JROTC ceremonyThe Kenmore-Garfield Army JROTC participated in the annual Firestone Memorial American Legion Post 449's community Veterans Day ceremony.

The 11 KGHS cadets led by Cadet Command Sergeant Major Wyatt Ruch marched down 15th Street and then along Kenmore Boulevard to Shadyside Park on Kenmore Boulevard and took part in the ceremony to honor veterans. Cadet Tyler Marr lead the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance to begin the ceremony, which included a message from guest speaker Eric Mansfield (Civilian Secretary to the Secretary of the Army Ohio North).

The ceremony concluded with a 21-gun salute and the playing of TAPS. The cadets then marched back to KGHS along the same route. Many passing cars annotated their support by honking their horns and thanking the cadets for their community service. The cadets participating were:
