It was mentioned often that Lisa Mansfield was close with many students over the years, going out of her way to help and mentor them. Often, she would attend events in which they participated. One such student, Madison Dies from Firestone CLC, spoke about Mansfield's investment of her heart in APS students.
Patrick Bravo was mentioned by Kenmore-Garfield student Elliot Jackson as having made significant contributions to benefit students. Elliot Jackson is a student board representative on the school board this year.
