Congratulations to Buchtel CLC 10th-grade students who participated in the Virtual Huntington Reality Day. Many thanks to the Huntington Bank volunteers who helped make this event possible to impact the 107 students who were in attendance. During the event, students were introduced to every-day financial decisions, using the FDIC's Youth Money Smart curriculum. Additionally, the students participated in a virtual simulation where they were responsible for keeping a budget while encountering financial realities they may face in the future--for example, having a high enough credit score to purchase the car or house of their choice. It was a great day for all involved. We look forward to offering the event in person next school year.
