The City of Akron Recreation and Parks Department will host its annual YES Fund Golf Outing on August 26 at Good Park Golf Course (530 Nome Ave.). The YES Fund (Youth Empowerment Scholarship) provides safe, fun and affordable opportunities to enhance the quality of life and encourage deeper connections within our community. All proceeds of this event will be used to ensure public recreation and the benefits that come with it are available to all Akron kids. More information, registration and tickets are available at

Hole sponsorships are also available for $100 and will include a 24 x 18 yard sign with your logo placed at a hole tee. In addition, your organization will be listed on the event banner.
