School-Based COVID-19 Testing Program

Akron Public Schools and Akron Children’s Hospital are working together to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. It is our hope that added health safety measures put into place in our schools will keep students healthy and learning in school. We are extremely grateful to our committed families and staff who continue to show great flexibility and resilience as we work together to contain the spread of this virus.  

Two no-cost testing options are available to families and staff showing COVID-19 symptoms: 

1) rapid home test kits
