While You Were Voting...
November 8 brought an active turnout of voters in Summit County. Many voted in Akron at our APS community learning centers and schools. While students had the day off to allow for a free flow of ballot casters, all Akron Public Schools teachers were working on what's called an Instructional Improvement Day (or IID in educational parlance). The district provided food for all participants throughout their day of learning.
