The cadets are in grades nine through 12 and were commanded, at the first game, by Cadet Billy Carper (12th grade). The May 24th color guard was commanded by Cadet Lorenzo Portis (11th grade).

The cadets enjoy doing the Education Days ballgames because they get to interact with younger students from all over NE Ohio. Both games were sellouts with more than 8,000 people in the ballpark.
