In addition to AP and IB courses and articulated credit through career technical courses, students may also enroll in the College Credit Plus program and take classes online or at local college campuses. Akron Public Schools currently works with colleges throughout northeast Ohio to provide college credit.

The College Credit Plus program will hold two parent/student information nights:
  • Tuesday, February 5, 6 p.m. at East CLC
  • Monday, February 11, 6 p.m. at Firestone CLC
Both information nights will be in the CLC auditoriums and will include a presentation on College Credit Plus, handouts and updates from representatives of area colleges.

All students in grades 7-12 are eligible and will learn about admission requirements, dual credit offerings, tuition and benefits, and application deadlines.
