Image of Cinco de Mayo LogoCome and join the fun at Kenmore-Garfield’s Cinco De Mayo Fiesta May 8 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The guest chef is Ricardo Deanda Sr., assisted by sous chef Ricardo Deanda Jr. The President’s Room will feature the following entrees ($12 + tax): Pollo Con Crema (chicken with poblano peppers in a cream sauce), Tostadas (spicy beef with carrots and potatoes on a crispy tostada), Fried Tacos (beef, potatoes and carrots with lettuce and onion in a fried taco shell), and Carne Asada (thinly sliced steak with rice and beans, served with tortillas). All entrees come with your choice of beverage and Tres Leches Cake for dessert. The proceeds will help defray the cost for four students to attend culinary camp this summer in Louisville, Kentucky.
