Bridge to Kindergarten is a literacy-based program that is designed to increase school readiness and parent involvement by preparing children for the transition to kindergarten and supporting them in the first year. The program is made available through a partnership between Project GRAD Akron, Akron Public Schools and Kent State University’s Early Childhood Education Department.
This program is for students entering kindergarten in an Akron public school in the Buchtel Cluster or East Cluster – including Crouse, Helen Arnold, Schumacher, Barber, David Hill, Mason, Robinson or Seiberling CLCs. For more information, visit https://projectgradakron.org/elementary-programs/.
