Facility  Services

Akron Public Schools Facility Services is a comprehensive maintenance, project management and service operation that includes Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds and Project Management.

Our team members strive to provide excellent service to the facilities and grounds that make up Akron Public Schools. These efforts are accomplished through a skilled staff of approximately 250 employees.

Renting Space in a CLC

Akron Public Schools (APS) and our community share in the use of our more than three dozen community learning centers (CLCs), by virtue of a cooperative agreement between the school district and the City of Akron. Each year, thousands of our friends and neighbors around Akron call upon us to assist them in reserving space for an activity or a meeting in one of our CLCs. Whether in an elementary, middle or high school, APS is pleased to offer our facilities to community groups and individuals for a facility use fee.

The Akron Public Schools Board of Education has developed specific guidelines that govern our facility rental program Building and CLC Rental Procedures.

If you have questions about CLC rentals, please contact Daphne Falasco at dfalasco@apslearns.org or 330.761.2806.
