The Teaching and Learning Department leads curriculum development, instructional strategy, and professional development across the district in alignment with Ohio's Learning Standards.

APS Grades 9-12 Courses

Students enrolled in APS high schools have a large selection of opportunities available with challenging and enriching coursework that prepares them for life and the workforce. We encourage students and families to review the courses offered at each school by exploring the course selection forms below and browsing the additional resources for more details.

The school counselor will advise students during the enrollment process to ensure that their selected courses support their interests and goals.

Many APS courses are specific to a certain high school program, such as International Baccalaureate, Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, or College & Career Academy Pathways. Other courses may be available across all high schools. Student athletes with either NCAA potential or interest in College Credit Plus/CTAG coursework should review course options with their counselor for eligibility. Course availability may be subject to change based on staffing and student enrollment.
