Among the side effects of COVID-19 in America is its impact on education. In Ohio, Governor Mike DeWine has asked Akron Public Schools and most other districts to create a catch-up-on-learning plan. This detailed blueprint should help students advance and make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed because of the pandemic. At APS, we have always had strong programming for our students over the summer so they can stay connected between school years. This year, however, our offerings are much more substantial than ever before.
