Akron in Action Kickoff

As part of the Ford Next Generation Learning Community Experience, Akron Public Schools College and Career Academies are on full display. 

Over the next three days, hundreds will witness the APS journey. In fact, APS was the first in the State of Ohio and one of only 50 school districts nationwide to align with the Ford NGL, allowing students to pursue their interests and passions related to high-demand careers right here in Northeast Ohio.

The district partners with more than 275 businesses and organizations across the city; and teachers, superintendents, community partners, principals and national foundations are taking note!
