APS Educators Honored at Summit ESC Education Celebration

Akron Public Schools was proud to see our educators recognized on February 5 at the Summit Educational Service Center Education Celebration, an annual event that honors outstanding educators and leaders from school districts across Northeast Ohio.

Yvonne, our 2025 Administrator of the Year, was celebrated as one of the 2025 Summit ESC Lifetime Achievement Award honorees. This recognition reflects years of dedicated leadership and a lasting impact on students, staff, and the school community.

Tracey Robinson, our 2025 Teacher of the Year, was also honored during the event as one of the 2025 Summit ESC Educators of the Year. Her commitment to students and excellence in the classroom continues to make a difference every day.

Akron Public Schools was also excited to recognize Brooke Bennett, who will be named our 2026 Rookie of the Year. She was celebrated as one of the 2025 Summit ESC Rookie of the Year honorees, highlighting the strong start she has made in her career and the promise she brings to our district.
