APS Students Honored with Scholarships from Akron Rotary Foundation and Rotary Club of Akron

The Rotary Club of Akron is proud to announce its recent scholarship awards to graduating seniors from Akron Public Schools (APS). A ceremony was held on April 23, 2024, to recognize these outstanding students for their academic achievements and dedication to their chosen career paths. The keynote speaker was Dr. Michael Robinson, Superintendent of Akron Public Schools.

“We are incredibly impressed by the caliber of this year’s scholarship recipients,” said Tom Knauer, President of The Rotary Club of Akron. “These students have demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and a desire to make a positive impact on their communities.”

The Rotary Club of Akron awarded scholarships in various categories, including:

  • Public Service
  • Health and Human Services
  • Business, Marketing & Information Technology
  • Manufacturing, Engineering & Skilled Trades

The following students each received a $1,000 scholarship to support their continued education.
