The Business Professionals of America (BPA), Ohio Association and State Leadership Conference bring together competitors, business and industry partners, advisers, and vendors to provide an opportunity for Ohio career-technical education students to showcase their development of leadership skills and career-related competencies.
BPA enhances social awareness, civic responsibility and business community understanding. Buchtel CLC 6-8 scholars competed at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) on March 10-11 to take home the following wins:
- 1st Place - Website Design Team - Quincy Oliphant, Michael Yoder and Joslyn Holloway
- 1st Place - Entrepreneurship Exploration - Maliah Motley
- 1st Place - Word Processing - Joslyn Holloway
- 2nd Place - Presentation Team - Joseph Snipes and Chase Nixon
