Students in the Marketing/Entrepreneurship Pathway at North High School are turning their business dreams into reality through a unique opportunity provided by MLII Productions. This initiative allows students to submit a small business plan for investment, receiving $100 in seed money to kickstart their ventures.

One standout success story this year is sophomore Arpan Teyung, who officially became a registered Ohio business owner by using his investment to launch Arpan’s Vision, a photography and videography firm. Arpan’s dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have already led to impressive work, including a dynamic montage of the North High School cheerleaders, which can be viewed here >>.

Arpan is one of nine North students awarded this micro-investment scholarship in 2024, alongside Tshitiz Tamang (grade 12), Saugast Rai (12), Said Kaleba (12), Mohammaed Al Abbodi (9), Jai’Naijah Wheeler (11), Joseph Adams (9), and Joanna Davis (9). While some students have used the funds to assist their families, Arpan is the only recipient this year to use the scholarship to officially register his business.

North Marketing/Entrepreneurship instructor Michael Lillie commended the students for their initiative and adaptability, noting that past recipients, such as 2023 graduate Diamond Fitzgerald, have also successfully launched businesses through this program.

Congratulations to Arpan and all the scholarship recipients for their entrepreneurial achievements! We look forward to seeing how their journeys unfold.
