The Akron Board of Education will hold a special meeting on May 5 at 5:30 p.m. in room 102, the Board Room (10 N. Main St.). This meeting is being held for the following reason: to recess into executive session to consider the employment of a public employee(s) and/or official(s) including but not limited to the Superintendent and to discuss and/or take potential action, in open session, related to the employment of a public employee(s) and/or official(s) including but not limited to the Superintendent.
