In partnership with the fine arts department under the leadership of Dawn Wilson, high school scholars in grades 9-12 from Ellet, Firestone, Garfield and North expressed their voices in art by submitting their exceptional original art pieces to Emilia Sykes' office for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. Scholars' art work will be displayed at an art reception at Summit Artspace. The overall winner for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District will have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., to participate in a reception with the other district winners from across the country. Fingers crossed that an APS scholar will be selected as the winner!
