APS Logos
Approved logos are available in several horizontal and vertical versions to accommodate full-color and one-color printing requests. These versions include:
- full color
- spot color (PMS 7685-blue or PMS 186-red)
- spot color (solid black or solid white)
- spot color (outline black or outline white)
Please read the APS Logo Guidelines (found below) for use.
Files types are available for print (commercial and desktop), Web, spot color and digital. Here is a quick reference about specific file types so you may download the logo you need.
Please note: The APS logo is a registered trademark with the US Patent Office. It may not be used for financial gain or commercial use without the written consent of authorized APS personnel. For approval or questions regarding the commercial use of the logo (especially on items such as apparel or other logo merchandise), contact Dr. Stacey Hodoh, APS communications director, 330.761.2930, shodoh@apslearns.org.
.jpg
Appropriate for online use such as email and websites, as well as desktop printing with Microsoft applications
.png
Usually used as an alternative to a .jpg file when a transparent background is required – there will be no white box around the logo; it’s ideal for online use and desktop printing with Microsoft applications
.eps
Not viewable without special software, these are also called “vector” files and are used by print shops for vinyl printing, truck graphics, etc.; an .eps file allows for the logo to be scaled to larger sizes without losing its crispness; used for commercial printing and signs
