Open Enrollment 2025-26
Be All That You Want to Be!
There are so many options for students to be all they want to be at APS. Our specialty schools and programs, College & Career Academies, extracurricular programs and more can help your student meet their goals to be career ready, creative, curious, innovative, challenged and, most of all, themselves.
Families interested in exploring APS school options outside of their neighborhood school must open enroll during our designated period in late fall/early winter. This year’s open enrollment period for the 2025-26 school year begins Sept. 30.
- The application deadline for specialty schools/programs is Dec. 2 (includes: Akron Early College, Akron School for the Arts at Firestone CLC, International Baccalaureate at Firestone CLC, Miller South, NIHF STEM Middle School and STEM High School).
- The application deadline for general open enrollment is Jan. 15, 2025.
